Tilapia and Hog Farming, vermicomposting... Those are the areas of agriculture that I had ventured in and a bit successful in maintaining the animals concerned alive for the length of their natural lives. :-p
For the record, I am able to sex-reverse the Tilapia (T. Niloticus) GET strain. Although for the first few months I was failing due to 90% mortality rates of Tilapia Fry, but thanks to Jason Snawder I was able to reverse the tide.
As for the pigs, I am able to formulate a feed series that is not only cheap but can convert the feedstuff to about 500g. average weight gain of the growing animal until they are sold for meat in the market.
My African Night Crawler worms lived their own lives and will only stay in their pit as long as I can shovel in their ration of hay straw and cow manure. During times that I neglect them, most leave their pit. But some die hards decided they better stay or else they will perish if an industrious red ant chanced upon them during their exodus.
Future plan: Quail Farming for their eggs and sell them as Kwek Kwek in my store.
